Summary and Reflection

Generative models can be used for both inferring patterns in existing data, for example using clustering algorithms, and for generating new data. In this section, you have seen how you can implement and use some of them, including PCA and GMMs. You have also got to dive deeper into deep generative models or generative language models. These families of models are both very relevant in modern machine learning and sit at the center of recent technological developments.

In the next (and last!) section, we will dig into some practical aspects of machine learning as well as some ethical considerations.
